Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Accounts & Finance to join our team and oversee our financial operations. They will play a pivotal role in managing the financial affairs of our jewellery manufacturing company. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: 1) Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making processes. 2) Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management. Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. 3) Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and customer payments. 4) Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and inventory control. Implement inventory management best practices to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs. 5) Cost Control and Analysis: Monitor manufacturing costs, overhead expenses, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Conduct cost-benefit analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. 6) Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements, including GST, TDS, and income tax. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate audits and resolve any compliance issues. 7) Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop financial strategies and initiatives to support business growth and profitability. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making. 8) Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning to ensure adequate funds for operational needs. Optimize cash flow through effective cash management techniques and working capital management. 9) Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity. 10) Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team. Requirements Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred. · Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, experience in a managerial capacity will be preferred. · Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards. · Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with jewellery industry software is a plus. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. · Leadership qualities with a strategic mind-set and a focus on driving results.
