Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our dynamic team at a leading jewelry manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data related to inventory, production, and sales within our computer systems. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Accurately input data into the company’s databases and systems. Enter information related to inventory, raw materials, production schedules, and sales orders. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by double-checking entered information. Data Maintenance: Update existing data to ensure it is current and correct. Delete unnecessary files or data as needed. Regularly backup data to prevent loss of information. Inventory Management: Record and update inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations. Generate inventory reports for management review. Production Support: Assist the production team by providing accurate and timely data. Coordinate with the production department to ensure data consistency. Maintain records of production outputs and downtime. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain documentation related to data entry processes. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on data entry activities. Assist in preparing reports for audits and compliance checks. Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of data entered into the system by cross-referencing with source documents. Identify and correct data entry errors promptly. Implement data validation techniques to improve accuracy. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather necessary information for data entry. Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any data-related issues. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar role. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data entry software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or related fields are a plus. Working Conditions: Primarily work in an office environment within the jewelry manufacturing facility. May require occasional overtime during peak production periods. Regular interaction with production, inventory, and sales teams.
