In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in income tax preparation, conducting audits, and providing valuable insights to our clients.   Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance processes to assess the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Analyze financial data, statements, and reports to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information, answer inquiries, and address concerns related to tax matters and audits. Assist in developing strategies for minimizing tax liabilities, maximizing deductions, and optimizing financial performance for clients. Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance and provide relevant guidance to clients. Communicate findings, recommendations, and insights effectively to clients and internal stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and meetings. Work closely with other team members, including senior associates and partners, to deliver high-quality service and achieve client objectives. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CA certification preferred. Proven experience in income tax preparation, audits, or related financial services, preferably in a public accounting firm. Strong understanding of tax laws, accounting principles, and auditing standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with tax preparation software is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with clients and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
